Banjos Will Rule the World

This fella asked me if I wanted to go to this little bluegrass pickers meeting thingy that happen every month on the edge of Sydney. So I said yeah. There were a lot of banjos. Other than that, it was pretty good. About sixty Aussies were there, and they were all singing songs about Bowling Green. It was beyond funny. Then this fella walks up to the mic of this little hole-in-the wall room and starts playing some amazing banjo. Turns out, John McEuen is in Sydney producing a play and wanted to pick a little. So pick a little he did, and it was amazing. It was a very casual thing, so I got to stand in the hall and talk to him. The conversation was a little like this:
JOHN - hey I'm not practicing too loud am I?
ME- nah, I think you're all right
JOHN - Don't think the guys on stage can hear me?
ME- nah, I think you're all right
